A number of years ago a company, the founder of Evolve Innovation co-founded, developed what was possibly one of the first interactive kiosks to be designed in metal and using a flat touch panel screen.

The unique design was 74mm deep on a curve. The sides were curved aluminium extrusions which held the internal assembly – which the manufacturer said was a risk as it is bent the ‘wrong’ way. Nothing beats being original! This design was immediate and aestheticially pleasing (and still one of the favourite designs of the lawyer who oversaw major investment into the company). An investment that changed the company from a design service company into a ‘own product’ company.

The founder of Evolve Innovation has gained experience from designing engineering products, such as designing steel weighbridges for weighing lorries through to audio consumer products.
